 rincar na Areia &eacute\; celebrado em 11 de agosto e a data surgiu nos Es
 tados Unidos da Am&eacute\;rica\, como Play in the Sand Day\, mas rapidame
 nte foi adotada noutros pa&iacute\;ses do mundo. Neste dia realizam-se con
 cursos de constru&ccedil\;&otilde\;es na areia nas praias do mundo\, entre
  outras iniciativas relacionadas com a areia da praia. #PlayintheSandDay\n
 \n\nSeeking to spread the Library&rsquo\;s collection of children&rsquo\;s
  and juvenile literature\, the respective section organizes a selection of
  pieces to be borrowed and read at home and shared with the family and the
  educational community.\nIn August there are two documental exhibitions de
 dicated to the Play in the Sand Day (11 August)\, gathering a set of works
  related with the theme. The Anis Estrelado Library&rsquo\;s exhibition\, 
 for children aged up to 9\, explores the theme &ldquo\;Beach: I Love to Pl
 ay in the Sand&rdquo\; and the Biblio.Juv exhibition\, for youngsters aged
  from 10 to 17\, the theme &ldquo\;Holidays: Plenty of Time for Everything
 &rdquo\;\nFree admission\n\nPlay in the Sand Day (11 August)\nThe Play in 
 the Sand Day was first celebrated in the United States of America\, but it
  soon spread to other countries in the world. The Day usually counts with 
 sandcastle building competitions\, among other initiatives related with sa
 nd at the beach.\n#PlayintheSandDay\n\n\nCon el objetivo de divulgar la co
 lecci&oacute\;n documental infantil y juvenil\, esa misma secci&oacute\;n 
 presenta una selecci&oacute\;n de documentos para pr&eacute\;stamo\, para 
 que los disfruten los ni&ntilde\;os y j&oacute\;venes y\, adem&aacute\;s\,
  la familia y la comunidad educativa.\nEn el mes de agosto hay dos exposic
 iones documentales dedicadas al D&iacute\;a de Jugar en la Arena&nbsp\; (1
 1 de agosto) y que re&uacute\;nen un conjunto de obras relacionadas con es

 e\;venes de los 10 a los 17 a&ntilde\;os\, el tema &ldquo\;Vacaciones: Hay
  Tiempo para Hacerlo Todo&rdquo\;\nEntrada libre\n\nD&iacute\;a de Jugar e
 n la Arena (11 de agosto)\nEl D&iacute\;a de Jugar en la Arena surgi&oacut
 e\; en los Estados Unidos de Am&eacute\;rica como &ldquo\;Play in the Sand
  Day&rdquo\;\, pero pronto fue adoptado en otros pa&iacute\;ses del mundo.
  El D&iacute\;a cuenta habitualmente con concursos de construcciones en la
  arena en las playas de todo el mundo\, entre otras iniciativas relacionad
