SUMMARY:Homem Raiz
DESCRIPTION:Schedule\nTue-Sun 10:00-17:30\n\nDescription\n"Homem Raiz" (roo
t man) celebrates forty years of Agostinho Santos’s work and symbolicall
y returns to "Bicho Homem" (creature man)\, the title of his first solo ex
hibition in 1987. It is not meant to repeat that starting point\, but to e
xplore it in greater depth. Between one title and the next lies a journey
marked by metamorphoses\, where memory\, experience and thought intersect
with matter\, gesture and instinct.\n\nThe exhibition brings together diff
erent moments\, themes and series from a body of work deeply rooted in the
artist’s experience and the issues of his time.\n(...)\n\nMore info\nOp
