 he salt water collected by the artist from the Mediterranean and the Atlan
 tic becomes the element that reveals the ocean’s chromatic presence thro
 ugh its very substance. The works are the result of a long-term engagement
 \, between 2014 and 2021\, with communities of migrants\, fishermen and cl
 imate activists in Italy\, Greece and Portugal. These people were asked to
  describe the colour of the sea based on their individual experiences. The
  hue and materiality of each work correspond directly to these accounts\,
