The iPorto<\/strong>, Agenda Metropolitana da Cultura<\/strong> (iPorto, Metropolitan Culture Calendar) is an initiative of the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP), created within the framework of a territorial development and cooperation strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As responsible for the processing and protection of personal data, the Porto Metropolitan Area (AMP)<\/strong> complies with the legislation in force on data protection, namely with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) approved by the Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 of 27 April 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the AMP<\/strong> commits to guarantee the protection of all personal data received. The AMP<\/strong> adopted several safety technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against any illicit processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each time you use this website or whenever you otherwise interact with the AMP<\/strong>, the personal data transmitted will be processed in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Policy in force at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Responsibility for the Treatment of Your Personal Data<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Porto Metropolitan Area<\/strong>, hereinafter AMP<\/strong>, NIPC 502 823 305, headquartered at Pal\u00e1cio dos Correios \u2013 Rua do Est\u00eav\u00e3o, 21, 4000-200 Porto, is responsible for processing your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The AMP <\/strong>processes several categories of personal data according to the different purposes, particularly collecting the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    a) Personal identifiable information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    b) Contact date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    c) Data arising from claims\/requests for the exercise of one\u2019s rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The AMP<\/strong> may process your personal data for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      a) Spread of information about and registration for cultural activities, conferences, colloquiums, seminars, workshops and other events taking place within the Porto metropolitan area or related to the AMP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      b) Distribution of newsletters on cultural activities taking place within the Porto metropolitan area or related to the AMP<\/strong>. Users may cancel their email newsletter subscription by clicking on the newsletter’s unsubscribe link.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      c) Surveys conducted within the scope of AMP\u2019<\/strong>sduties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      d) Answer to contact requests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Lawful Data Processing<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        d) Legitimate interest<\/strong>: your data may be processed based on AMP\u2019s legitimate interest, provided that such interests do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        e) Consent<\/strong>: AMP may process your data upon obtaining your consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        f) Defence of vital interests<\/strong>: AMP may also process your personal data whenever this proves necessary and essential for the protection of your life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The AMP<\/strong> ensures that, whenever third parties are involved, these entities will comply with their obligations regarding privacy and protection of personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The AMP<\/strong> may also communicate your personal data when obliged by law, in the context of judicial proceedings or as part of investigations carried out by competent authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

          The AMP<\/strong> will not make international transfers of your data to a third country or international organisation outside the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            Your personal data may be stored for hosting and back-up in servers located in Portugal that are in a secure environment, protected from unauthorised access.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            1. Rights of Data Subjects<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

              The AMP<\/strong> shall respect the confidentiality of your personal information and guarantee the exercise of your rights in accordance with applicable legislation, namely:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              a) Right to information<\/strong>: you have the right to obtain clear, transparent and understandable information on the way the AMP<\/strong> handles your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              b) Right of access<\/strong>: in addition to the right to information, you can access your personal data and confirm whether they are being processed, as well as request a copy of them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              c) Right to rectification<\/strong>: you have the right to rectify your personal data if they are inaccurate, outdated or incomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              d) Right to erasure<\/strong>: you can ask us to delete your data. However, you should bear in mind that this is not an absolute right, as the AMP<\/strong> may have legal grounds or other legitimate interests to keep your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              e) Right to object<\/strong>: on grounds relating to your situation, you may object to certain processing operations based on a legitimate interest or public interest of the AMP<\/strong> or third parties, at any time of their processing. It should be borne in mind that the AMP<\/strong> may continue to process such data if it can demonstrate \u201ccompelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms\u201d or if such data are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.               f) Right to lodge a complaint with the Comiss\u00e3o Nacional de Prote\u00e7\u00e3o de Dados (CNPD)<\/strong>, the Portuguese data protection authority: if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the applicable data protection legislation, you can file a complaint with the CNPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              g) Right to data portability<\/strong>: you have the right to move, copy or transfer your personal data from the AMP database to another, in a commonly used structured format, provided that the processing is based on your consent or on a contract to which you are a party and is carried out by automated means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
