 o?’.\n\nMás información\nDia Mundial dos Animais de Quinta (2 de outub
 ro): Foi escolhido o dia 2 de outubro em honra de Mahatma Ghandi\, nascido
  neste dia\, que acreditava que todos os seres - do maior aos mais pequeno
 s - deviam ser tratados com respeito\, por igual. O objetivo do Dia Mundia
 l dos Animais de Quinta &eacute\; divulgar as fracas condi&ccedil\;&otilde
 \;es de vida que os animais de quinta t&ecirc\;m e todas as torturas a que
  estes animais s&atilde\;o sujeitos\, tendo em vista mudar esta situa&cced
 il\;&atilde\;o. Apesar de ser um dia de luta e de mem&oacute\;ria pelo sof
 rimento e morte anual de 70 mil milh&otilde\;es de animais terrestres cria
 dos unicamente para a alimenta&ccedil\;&atilde\;o\, o dia pode ser celebra
 do de maneira divertida\, levando as crian&ccedil\;as a conhecer animais e
 m quintas e ensinando aos mais pequenos a tratar os animais com amor. Part

 e quinta &eacute\; uma das op&ccedil\;&otilde\;es que tem para este dia. E

 bitions dedicated to the World Farm Animals Day (2 October)\, gathering a 
 set of works related with the theme. The Anis Estrelado Library&rsquo\;s e
 xhibition\, for children aged up to 9\, explores the theme &ldquo\;Farm An
 imals: So many and so different!&rdquo\; and the Biblio.Juv exhibition\, f
 or youngsters aged from 10 to 17\, the theme &ldquo\;Alternative food: Am 
 I a vegetarian?&rdquo\;\n\nWorld Farm Animals Day (2 October)\nThe 2 Octob
 er was chosen to honour Mahatma Ghandi\, on his birthday. He believed that
  every being\, from the largest to the smallest one\, should be treated wi
 th respect\, as equal.\nThe World Farm Animals Day seeks to make people aw
 are of the bad life conditions of farm animals and all the torture they ar
 e subject to\, trying to change this reality.\nAlthough it is a day for fi
 ghting and recalling the yearly suffering and death of 70 thousand million
  animals created only for food\, it can be celebrated in a positive and fu
 n way\, leading children to contact with farm animals and teaching them to
  treat them with love.\nOn this day\, one of the possible activities is to
  share information and videos on the actual way farm animals are treated. 
 The celebration of this Day is organized by the Farm Animal Rights Movemen
 t and all the initiatives are available on the event&rsquo\;s official web

 n documental infantil y juvenil\, esa misma secci&oacute\;n presenta una s

 la comunidad educativa.\nEn el mes de octubre hay dos exposiciones documen
 tales dedicadas al D&iacute\;a Mundial de Animales en Granjas (2 de octubr
 e) y que re&uacute\;nen un conjunto de obras relacionadas con este tema. L

 hasta 9 a&ntilde\;os\, plantea el tema &ldquo\;Animales en Granjas: &iexcl
 \;Hay tantos y tan diferentes!&rdquo\; y la exposici&oacute\;n Biblio.Juv\
 , para j&oacute\;venes de los 10 a los 17 a&ntilde\;os\, el tema &ldquo\;A

 njas es &eacute\;l de divulgar las malas condiciones de vida de los animal
 es en granjas y todas las torturas que sufren\, para intentar cambiar esta
  situaci&oacute\;n.\nAunque sea un d&iacute\;a de lucha y de memoria por e
 l sufrimiento y la muerte anual de 70 mil millones de animales terrestres 
 creados &uacute\;nicamente para consumo humano\, el d&iacute\;a puede cele
 brarse de forma divertida\, llevando los ni&ntilde\;os a conocer animales 
 en granjas y ense&ntilde\;&aacute\;ndoles a tratarlos con amor.\nCompartir
  informaci&oacute\;n y videos sobre la realidad del tratamiento de los ani
 males en las granjas es una de las sugerencias para este d&iacute\;a. Esta
