The CAAC (Alberto Carneiro Art Centre) is a municipal initiative project, aimed at safeguarding, preserving, researching and disseminating contemporary art, under a strategy of sustainable development, creativity and knowledge production, seeking to raise public awareness of artistic expression. CAAC’s main objective is the management of the collection of the sculptor Alberto Carneiro, as well as the expansion of the art collection of the Municipality of Santo Tirso, through donations and direct acquisitions.
