Bonjóia Estate

The villa, whose authorship is attributed to Nicolau Nasoni, was built in 1759, but remained uncompleted, lacking its eastern body. It is strategically located, facing a garden terrace, the Campanhã Valley and the Douro River. The main entrance gate, bearing the coat of arms of D. Lourenço Amorim da Gama Lobo, gives access to the formal garden, with camellias, which extends to the outside staircase. The gardens continue to the south covering different landings. In 1995, the estate was acquired by the Porto City Council.
