Since its opening in November 2008, the main objective of the Constantino Nery Matosinhos Municipal Theatre has been to present a regular, diversified programme aimed at all types of audiences, encompassing different aspects of the scenic and performing arts. The historic 1878 building, located in the heart of Matosinhos, has a reception area that doubles as an exhibition space, a rehearsal room, a café-concert hall and a 225-seat auditorium equipped with state-of-the-art technology.
