Dedicated to local history, the museum has a varied collection based on the following themes: baking, slate mining, linen processing, religious art, painting, metal sheet and wooden toys, Bugios and Mourisqueiros costumes. There are also various objects relating to the most important periods in the municipality, including fossils from the Palaeozoic period, prehistoric remains and those from the Roman era associated with gold mining.
