The “Regueifa” (typical bread) and Cookies Workshop, located in the centre of Valongo, is a space dedicated to promoting cultural heritage by collecting, preserving and exhibiting objects and memories linked to baking as a centuries-old activity in the municipality. This building focuses on honouring the soul of Valongo and highlighting one of the municipality’s logos, which refers to an activity that catapulted Valongo into the world with its ancestral aromas and flavours, achieved through the hard work of the local population, and which still awakens the five senses today.
