FIOMS promotes a wide variety of cultural activities, including organ concerts, choral-symphonic concerts, conferences, an international masterclass in choir and orchestra conducting, and, in 2026, a choral music festival. This event, which has established itself as an international benchmark in the field of sacred music and the promotion of organ heritage, will this year extend to 12 municipalities in the northern region: Porto, Maia, Valongo, Gondomar, Vila Nova de Gaia, Espinho, Oliveira de Azeméis, Arouca, Paços de Ferreira, Vila do Conde, Felgueiras and Amarante.
