The Espinho International Art Biennial intends to set up a wider platform for the dissemination and promotion of plastic arts, as well as of recognition of plastic artists. The Biennial stands as a reference event from Espinho Municipal Museum, having also established itself as the “brand image” of the Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso's Galleries, the Museum’s art exhibition space. The 8th edition will hold the competition exhibition in the galleries of the Espinho Municipal Museum and two other exhibitions of invited artists, in the galleries of the Espinho Parish Council and the Espinho Multimedia Centre.
