The Porto Hospital Centre Museum aims to evoke and relate the practices and techniques of pharmaceutical intervention in the health sciences in the 19th and 20th centuries. Through the reconstruction of two remarkable spaces - a 19th century apothecary and a workshop pharmacy - the Museum's mission is to celebrate and promote the memory and roots of the institution and its scientific heritage, and to become a learning space that mobilises knowledge and skills.
