October 2024 marked exactly 25 years since the death of Amália Rodrigues and 15 years since the launch of the Amália Hoje project, which was the spark that reignited the flame of Hoje. Fado Amália is the song that marks the return of Amália Hoje. Taking into account the 25th anniversary of Amália Rodrigues' death and the 15th anniversary of Hoje, Nuno Gonçalves, Sónia Tavares, Fernando Ribeiro and Paulo Praça decided to get back together.
