The opening exhibition of the António Carneiro Atelier, curated by Bernardo Pinto de Almeida, will seek to explore the universe and potential of symbolist aesthetics in António Carneiro, in both its historical and aesthetic relationship with its international time, understanding this new spirituality as an affirmation of the presence of a spectral aura under the artist's singular gaze over Portuguese light and landscapes.
