Documentary photography project that explores the Vila Chã fishing community's relationship with the sea and the land. The aim is to use photography to reveal the lives of men and women, boats and traditional fishing gear that sustain an ancestral connection to the sea. Showing photographs taken between 2020 and 2022, this exhibition is a starting point, a first approach, initiating a dialogue with the community and laying the foundations for the continuity of the project, paving the way for a future book that will bring together the ways of life, memories and transformations of this community in a more extensive and in-depth way.
