The Birds Are Indie return with their seventh album of original songs, The Stone of Madness, where they further develop their unique identity, maintaining creative control over music, image and narrative. After the more synthetic and conscious sound direction of the times we live in, inaugurated in Ones & Zeros, this new full-length album reinforces that pulse. If in 2023 the focus was on the collective, the world and its fractures, this new work shifts the focus inward, more specifically to the mental mechanisms, the recurrences, the invisible tensions that run through each individual.
