Photography work by Hélder Luís, based on the path walked by Eça de Queirós in Tormes, Santa Cruz do Douro, in 1892, which served as inspiration for his book “A Cidade e as Serras” (The City and the Mountains), published in 1895. (...) The Jacinto Trail begins at the Aregos Train Station, next to the river, and extends uphill along ancient trails to the property inherited by Eça de Queirós' wife, which today houses the Foundation dedicated to the writer.
