CHANGE OF VENUE FOR THE CONCERT TO FÁBRICA DE SANTO THYRSO Club Makumba was born from the union of Tó Trips (guitar), João Doce (drums), Gonçalo Prazeres (saxophone) and Gonçalo Leonardo (bass and double bass) for a free, spontaneous, experimental and tribalist musical exercise. Opening the window to a journey through the sounds of the Mediterranean and imagined Africa, Club Makumba's music is a flag of resistance flying on Mediterranean shores, free of any prejudice or geographical or stylistic border.

21:00 - Visit to the Abade Pedrosa Municipal Museum, the International Museum of Contemporary Sculpture and the exhibition by the plastic artist Carla Rebelo. Renovated in 2016, the Abade Pedrosa Municipal Museum (MMAP) is housed in the former guesthouse of the Santo Tirso Monastery, a building classified as a National Monument. The refurbishment of the MMAP, designed by architects Álvaro Siza Viera and Eduardo Souto de Moura, included the construction of the headquarters of the Santo Tirso Museum of Contemporary Sculpture (MIEC), with which it shares several functions. The museums and the concert venue are located in the former estates of the Monastery (Quinta de Dentro and Quinta de Fora). Meeting point for the visit: International Museum of Contemporary Sculpture The walk to Fábrica Santo Thyrso, where the concert will take place, takes about 12 minutes.
