The exhibition "Da soleira... atravessando a rua" (From the doorstep... across the street) is the result of a transdisciplinary artistic project, in the public domain, developed in Lomba, in the parish of Bonfim, Porto. In dialogue with urban policies, it aims to build a critical space through an aesthetic, political and ethical inscription of citizen participation. Today, Lomba is undergoing the recovery of sets of houses conventionally referred to as "islands"; this project has brought the local community closer together.
