Inóspita
Inóspita is the solo guitar project of young Lisbon native Inês Matos. Inês has been playing guitar since she was a child and studied at the Guitar Academy (where she has been teaching since she was 16). She studied at the Luiz Villas-Boas Jazz School at Hot Clube de Portugal. She has been playing with bands since her teens and is a member of projects such as Primeira Dama, Chinaskeee and João Borsch. Inóspita is the search for a commitment to the song format and her own approach to her instrument, favouring melodic narrative on the guitar alone. Nominated for best solo artist at the Rádio Futura awards.
More info
The old parish church of Ossela, now the Monastery Chapel, is located in Chousal and is dedicated to St. Sebastian the Martyr. Its foundation date is unknown, but the oldest part of the current temple is the result of a reconstruction carried out in the 17th century, which was renovated in the following century. In 1955, it underwent further renovation, this time with conservation work carried out by the inhabitants of the surrounding areas. Although modest in appearance, we can attribute some Baroque architectural features to it, as it is a building with a longitudinal plan and distinct volumetric elements with a differentiated gabled roof, consisting of a nave, chancel, sacristy on the left side and bell tower. In 2010, it underwent renovation. 15:30 – Guided tour “Along the Paths of Ferreira de Castro” 17:00 – Tasting of local products Free admission Sounds in Heritage Sites’ full programme at https://iporto.amp.pt/en/eventos/sounds-in-heritage-sites-2025/
