Paying homage to art and to life, the Master Sculptor Alberto Carneiro created a living monument perpetuating his name and bequeathing his Parish and all the Trofa inhabitants a huge Garden with 435 posts. This garden honours and reinterprets vineyards, inviting to new journeys through the silence of pillars aligned with the beat of the land, marking the rhythm of time and raising as a force of nature in the Alberto Carneiro 1997-2014 Sculpture Garden. In this journey, author and work come together indistinctively, blurring themselves and complementing each other, assuming a unique entity enjoying space and time.
