JP Simões
Singer, composer, lyricist, short story writer and playwright, JP Simões has been publishing albums since 1995, with Pop Dell'Arte, Belle Chase Hotel, Quinteto Tati and solo or in collaboration with other composers. He took part in the 2018 Song Festival with ‘Alvoroço’, which won the prize for best popular song at the Portuguese Society of Authors' 2019 Authors Award Gala. He also released the albums “Tremble Like a Flower” and “Drafty Moon” in 2016 and 2021, under the pseudonym Bloom. Live he performs solo, with a repertoire that spans different phases of his career.

Sanctuary of St Anthony - modernist religious architecture. Longitudinal plan sanctuary comprising the church complex, chapel of the Blessed Sacrament, sacristy, catechism rooms, parish priest's residence and basement with multipurpose hall. It was designed by architect Agostinho Ricca and engineer António Alpoim, and its stained-glass windows are signed by Domingos Pinho. Zulmiro de Carvalho was the sculptor and author of the tabernacle and José Rodrigues the sculptor and author of the image of Santo António (St. Anthony) that we can see inside the shrine.
