Lana Nóbrega – Reminiscences
Reminiscences presents abstract oil paintings that combine traditional painting techniques with a contemporary language. The artist works with hand-ground pigments, aged oils and layers of glaze to create luminous surfaces that evoke the passage of time, memory and the perception of light. This methodology allows for the creation of pictorial surfaces marked by a tension between permanence and transience, suggesting an ambiguous temporality that is both ancestral and immediate.
