Vila Nova de Gaia
Líquen
Líquen was born from the imagination and expressiveness of Constança Ochoa, a singer from Coimbra, who combines her voice with poetry and vocal polyphonies. With a fluid musical identity, the project navigates between pop, electronic, jazz and Portuguese popular music. Constança embraces solo composition but immerses herself in a collective strategy for producing her songs, together with three musicians and producers: Rui Jorge Lopes, Leonardo Patrício and Luís Pedro Keating.

The Monastery of “S. Domingos das Donas de Vila Nova de Gaia” or Convent of Corpus Christi, of Dominican nuns, was founded in 1345 on the initiative of Maria Mendes Petite. Due to the gradual deterioration of the convent's original church, this new temple was built in the second half of the 17th century. In the 18th century, the Baroque façade was built, clearly influenced by Nasoni. Of great heritage interest, the choir loft consists of walnut seats. The space is decorated with high-quality carvings with plant motifs, and the ceiling, divided into 49 coffers, depicts saints from the Dominican Order and from other orders.
