Solo jazz piano is a very special form of intimacy. One musician, one instrument and one stage, exposed to the audience. Mário Laginha is one of the most experienced Portuguese musicians in this field. After many solo concerts, the album "Canções e Fugas" was released in 2006. In this recital, Laginha presents "Retorno", his second album recorded in this format. With creations developed during the recording process and echoes of recent collaborations with Camané, a master of intimacy, it is a long-awaited return, in many ways, to a venue he knows well.
