“Metatempo” is a musical proposal that focuses on three fundamental spheres of reflection on time – this finite and inevitable category of existence, culture and music. Based on these fundamental axes, the RePercussion Trio brings to the stage four original compositions by Hugo V. Reis, João P. Oliveira, Luís A. Pena and Maurizio Azzan, inspired by visual triptychs of satellite images of Earth (made freely available by NASA) whose central elements are the atmosphere, global warming, human presence, natural life, natural disasters, ice, snow and water.
