New Year, New Life, but keeping the usual traditions. Once again, the Orquestra das Beiras takes on the mission of presenting a New Year's programme that aims to be a real celebration. The audience will be invited to let their imagination run wild with the timeless music of Johann Strauss II and his contemporaries, through the waltzes, polkas and marches that are so familiar to us all. To add to the festive atmosphere, the programme will feature arias and duets from opera and operetta, with the presence of two of the leading opera singers, soprano Rafaela Albuquerque and tenor Marco Alves dos Santos.
