Hugo Pereira's "Paths" exhibition was born out of an attempt to expressively problematise the emotions that plague human beings in a world full of injustice, suffering and uncertainty. Over the last two decades, the artist has created various pieces, including eleven clay sculptures and two enamel paintings on canvas, selected for this exhibition. These artistic pieces arose from the need to materialise the artist's inner experience, marked by an incessant search for the meaning of his "inner self" and also by various confrontations with the outside world.
