"The Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross" by the Austrian composer Joseph Haydn (1732–1809) will be performed by the Quarteto de Cordas de Matosinhos in a very special concert. (...) The performance will feature the actor João Reis, who will read the quotations from Jesus, complemented by texts written by the Portuguese author José Saramago and the Spanish theologian and philosopher Raimon Panikkar, created in 2006 for the recording of the work by the orchestra Le Concert des Nations, invited of the Catalan musician, composer and conductor Jordi Savall.
