The exhibition celebrates the 80th anniversary of the United Nations and the 70th anniversary of Portugal’s accession to the UN, offering the public a visual journey through the many ways in which multilateralism shapes the daily lives of people around the world. “Shared Lives, Shared Future” presents real-life stories gathered from various countries and territories around the world, illustrating the direct impact of the United Nations on people’s lives, from the promotion of peace and security to humanitarian action, sustainable development, international regulation and the defence of human rights.
