In Shrimp Tales, (a title that also sounds like ‘shrimp tails’), Hotel Modern attempts to portray this fascinating pest called Humanity. We observe people as if they belonged to an exotic species with unique features. They practice sports and science, they fight, live, make love, and lose their minds. After Kamp in 2020 and Our Empire in 2023, Pauline Kalker, Arlène Hoornweg, Herman Helle, Arthur Sauer, and their team are back for yet another foray into their extraordinary real-time theatre-cinema, featuring miniature sets, live music and sound, and this time…shrimp.
