Something that I began to notice and see with new eyes was what is known as a rhytidome, more specifically tree houses. These layers are incredibly beautiful, and I also realised that they have a strong representational texture. The exhibition encompasses the layers in an abstract way, starting from the modelling lines of the bark and its texture. All this in conjunction with different media and techniques: textiles, engraving, drawing and painting… hence the title, perhaps because I have several facets.
