The Giant Cascade was given to the Quinta de Santiago Museum in May 2010. It has around 15 m2 and represents the Leça area in the beginning of the twentieth century. It was built by José Moreira, the oldest cascade-maker in Leça, where this tradition still lives. The work reproduces in detail monuments, traditions and historical episodes from Leça da Palmeira.
