This exhibition brings together artists who make writing the central visual theme of their work. Letters, comments, manifestos, wordplays, captions, ideas and signs embody the voices of their authors, yet many of them are illegible and therefore unnoticeable. We see the opaque, overlapping, fragmented texts, in languages we can't interpret, configure visual fields, images and patterns. All the works belong to the Treger Saint Silvestre collection, on deposit at the Oliva Art Centre since 2014.
