This cultural space was created in 2014 and aims to contribute to the interpretation, appreciation and spreading of the “Bugiada e Mouriscada”, a festival held annually in Sobrado on 24 June, São João’s day.
It holds permanent, temporary and travelling exhibitions, among other events, and brings together documentary, photographic, bibliographic and heritage collections.
It provides educational services with practical activities for children, youngsters and senior citizens. It conducts guided tours for groups of all ages and participants in events.
