Between 4 and 8 May, the Allegro Quintet, an ensemble taking part in this edition of the European project “1000Plus Concerts: Innovating Higher Music Education through Social Inclusion”, will bring music to various social and community institutions in the Porto region - Estabelecimento Prisional do Porto e Centro Educativo Santo António, Aldeias SOS, Centro Hospitalar Conde Ferreira e Hospital de Santa Maria, IPO e Centro de Dia da Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro, ERPI S. Lázaro e Associação do Porto de Paralisia Cerebral, providing meaningful artistic experiences to audiences with more limited access to cultural enjoyment.
