The 47th National Handicraft Fair will bring together two hundred national artisans in Vila do Conde, ensuring geographical coverage of the country and defending its title as the "best and most genuine showcase of traditional Portuguese arts", a meeting point and crossroads between the traditional knowledge of older artisans and the introduction of new materials or techniques by the younger generations.
