It was the last piece he composed, released shortly before his death in 1992. Frank Zappa chose the Ensemble Modern to perform Yellow Shark – according to him, the best representation of his orchestral music. The conductor at the time was Peter Rundel, who will be conducting the Remix Ensemble tonight.
