Four decades of creativity, experimentation and a passion for art form the basis of the exhibition “Albertino Valadares – 40-year artistic career”, a retrospective bringing together 129 works and tracing different stages of a career characterised by restlessness, authenticity and a constant search for new forms of expression. Curated by Fernando Couto, the exhibition reveals the technical diversity and power of a body of work built up over 40 years, encompassing oils, acrylics, pastels, charcoal and other media, in a visual language deeply characterised by colour, gesture and energy.
