The tradition of celebrating São João is brought to life in S. João da Madeira with the City's Festivities. With the support of the local council, the programme organised by the Festivities Committee will take place from 18 to 24 June, featuring both religious and entertainment events, the latter centred on the Municipal Garden and Avenida da Liberdade.
