We could begin by stating that this is a show about Heiner Müller (1929-95). But which Heiner Müller? There is not just one, but many, gathered under that name. Vidro Pantera (Panther Glass) is a whirlwind journey through Müller’s many worlds, assembled from fragments of plays, poems, interviews, anecdotes, theoretical writings and biographical texts, guided above all by one of his defining works: Hamletmachine. ‘I am the soldier in the gun-turret, my head is empty under the helmet, the scream choked under the chains.
