The Municipal Library is hosting an exhibition open to the public featuring three-dimensional models of granaries, made from stone and wood, created by pupils in Years 7, 8 and 9 at Soares de Basto Secondary School. This is therefore an educational exhibition that combines the rigour of Technology Education with a celebration of traditional rural architecture, agricultural heritage and the preservation of the region’s identity.
