By bringing artists and foundry workers together, the project reveals casting not merely as a technique, but as a space for dialogue and the convergence of diverse forms of knowledge and expression. This event, sponsored by the São João de Madeira City Council through the municipality’s Industrial Tourism department, will explore five distinct perspectives: artistic, industrial, military, religious and archaeological. The exhibition will take place at Torre da Oliva, an iconic site for the foundry sector, with the opening on 6 May 2026, following the APF congress which will be held in the same venue.
