Ivo Kahánek is widely recognised as one of the most outstanding pianists of his generation and the most representative of today's Czech pianists, standing out for the emotional intensity and striking expressiveness he brings to his interpretations. In this concert he will perform works by Bedřich Smetana, Leoš Janáček, Bohuslav Martinů and Fryderyk Chopin.
