In Portugal he has also worked with the biggest names in Portuguese music, such as Slow J and Rui Veloso. 18:00 - Guided tour of the Monastery of Arouca The Monastery of Santa Maria de Arouca is a National Monument since 1910. Pre-dating the foundation of Portuguese nationality, it was founded in the 10th century (more precisely between 915 and 925, according to the oldest documents) and was the first building in the Arouca valley, with the municipality developing around it. After the extinction of the monastic orders and the death of the last nun in the 19th century, the monastery's art collection was preserved almost in its entirety, mainly thanks to the creation of the Royal Brotherhood of Queen St Mafalda of Arouca, which has protected it to this day and opened the Arouca Monastery Museum of Sacred Art in 1933.
