Lázaro is an installation that starts in Porto's Jardim de São Lázaro to reflect on the city, memory and gestures of resistance. Recognising the public space as a meeting place between diverse presences, the work reflects a heterogeneous and multicultural social fabric that inhabits the public space. Through photography, sound, video and performative action, a sensory and fragmented landscape is composed, where the everyday intersects with the imaginary, and the sacred with the profane.
