In July 2025, Orquestra XXI returns to the Portuguese stage with its 32nd tour, which will feature 76 musicians and will pass through Guimarães, Porto, Alcobaça and Lisbon. Russian soprano Sofia Fomina will be the guest soloist on this special occasion. The programme, directed by Dinis Sousa, includes Dmitri Shostakovich's monumental Symphony No. 5, a tribute to Richard Strauss with a performance of the moving Four Last Songs and the national premiere of Ciprés, a work by Portuguese composer Andreia Pinto Correia.
