The Festival, an initiative of the Maia City Council, aims to present a diverse selection of cinematographic works by filmmakers from all over the world and aims to showcase varied categories such as fiction feature films, documentaries and animations. It should be emphasised that there will also be space for children, with a special session. After receiving around 120 proposals in an Open Call that closed at the end of January, 10 films were selected. The organisation received proposals from various countries, from France to Germany, Iran, India and Morocco, among others.
