The Barbot House is one of the most significant examples of early 20th-century bourgeois residential architecture in the municipality. Built in 1904, the building is distinguished by its Art Nouveau-inspired architectural style, set within an eclectic ensemble that combines various stylistic references and a remarkable wealth of decoration. The building was designed as a private residence and is particularly associated with the Barbot family, after which the property was named. Its architecture and decoration reveal an integrated approach to the arts, making use of elements such as ceramic tiles, stucco, wrought iron, stonework, glass and decorative painting.
